INFO ABOUT THE FINCA

LOCATION: 14 Km From Marbella

Nesting in the hilltops overlooking the village and castle, the finca sits just 2.5 km from Monda and about 14 km from Marbella. The access to the finca is concrete road all the way. You can easily walk to the village. Monda has a young vibe with several restaurants, bars, supermarket, health centre, banks and post office.

Pool & Garden

Expect. a bohemian vibe with slightly wild gardens - big terraces, pool, lawn and BBQ. Enjoy sitting on the terrace looking out over the pool and garden with the village in the distance and olive groves around you.

Indoor Spaces

Finca La Boheme has a large open plan kitchen, dining room and sitting room decorated in bohemian style.

Bedrooms

The finca sleeps 6 people. The main house has 2 bedrooms with queen size beds and ensuite bathrooms. The third bedroom is in a little guest shed in the garden and it has a queen size bed and ensuite bathroom.

WHAT TO EXPECT

A CATS THAT OWN THE PLACE

The finca has airconditioning in the main area and all of the bedrooms. Please note that, as with many rural properties, the electrical supply has its limitations. Running several high-consumption appliances simultaneously can cause the electrical system to trip. We therefore ask guests to use electricity thoughtfully, switch off air conditioning when leaving the house and avoid running multiple high-energy appliances at the same time.

There is a separate laundry area in the garage with a good quality washing machine and a tumble dryer but we prefer if you hang out your clothes to dry to save energy.

As you might understand, to keep the garden green during the summer months require watering. It should be done in the evening to preserve the moisture better during the night for the plants. We kindly ask you to help us maintain this paradise green to keep the micro climate created by the trees and plants.

THE FINCA HAS IT'S QUIRKS

The entrance and parking of the finca has not been renovated in style with the rest of the house yet. Thats all in the back of the house and can't be seen from the front of the house though

As with many traditional Spanish fincas, Finca La Boheme has its own little quirks and character. It is a much-loved rural home rather than a newly built, modern villa, and some parts of the property are still a work in progress. Nothing too annoying, but there are a few things guests need to know and some simple instructions to follow.

EVERYTHING PERFECT

The finca has some areas to it that haven't been finished and some parts of the fencing is not the most attractive looking. Some walls aren't straight and some parts need a paint.

There is no dishwasher! So Sorry! It's just that in order to fit one in we need to redo the whole kitchen island and we just haven't had time to do it!

The finca is not toddler friendly. If you have a toddler you may rent the finca but you do so on your own responsibility. There is no fence around the pool. It is better fitted for families with children of a minimum age of 9-10 years old.

The finca is very suited for chilled couples who like making good food and have a glass of wine on the terrace!

Monda is well known for being a walkers paradise! There are many walks to enjoy in the country side around the village. There are caves and waterfalls that you can walk and see.

We accept pets as long as they are not cat assassins! If you have a well trained dog who doesn't pee on the carpet or kill cats, he is very welcome!
